Founded in 2005 by Jack Abrams, M.D., Abrams Eye Institute provides the most advanced, comprehensive ophthalmologic services in Southern Nevada, giving the gift of improved vision. Abrams Eye Institute offers the latest techniques in treating eye diseases, including Eyeonics, Inc.'s Crystalens? technology, a single-focus lens that works naturally with eye muscles to reduce dependency on bifocals after cataract surgery. Dr Abrams is among a handful of surgeons who perform Intacs? implants to treat Keratoconus, a degenerative disorder of the eye in which structural changes occur within the cornea. He also uses premium implants during cataract surgery to provide multifocal vision to patients, as well as partial-thickness corneal transplants that offer quick visual recovery of two to three weeks.
Abrams Eye Institute is home to the industry's latest vision correction laser technology, the VISX S4 laser with iris recognition, which offers the greatest precision of any laser surgery technology that is available today.
